What is an error?
A ball that is thrown by grabbing the four seams of the ball.
What is a fast ball?
When the batter hits the ball and makes it to first base.
What is a single?
Batted balls that first contact the field between home plate and first or third base.
What is a fair ball?
When the runner tries to get to the next base without the batter hitting the ball.
What is a stolen base?
When the ball is caught by either the short stop or second baseman, who gets the runner coming to second out, and then they throw the ball to first, getting the runner coming to first out.
What is a double play?
When the pitcher surprises the runner who is trying to steal a base.
What is a pick off move?
When the batter hits the ball and makes it to second base.
What is a double?
One team ends the game by getting ten runs ahead of the other team by the seventh inning.
What is the ten run rule?
When there is a fly ball to the outfield and the runner is touching the base until the outfielder catches it, which allows the runner to try to steal the next base.
What is a tag?
When two of the defensive players get one of the offensive runners trapped between them as he tries to steal a base, and the defensive players throw the ball back and forth until they get the runner out.
What is a run down?
A pitch that does not go when the pitcher intended it to go.
What is a wild pitch?
When the hitter tries to hit the ball down the first base line behind the runner on first to get that runner to third base.
What is a hit and run?
The amount of time that a pitcher has to throw the ball before the umpire calls a penalty.
What is a pitch timer?
When the runner lays down as he is running to use his momentum and his length to reach the base more quickly.
What is a slide?
When a ball is hit deep in the outfield and the outfielder does not have the arm strength to get the ball back to the necessary base.
When the pitcher does an illegal movement?
What is a balk?
When somebody gets a double or triple.
What is an extra base?
When a batter either gets three strikes or the ball is caught in play without touching the ground or the ball is caught and thrown to the base before the runner gets there.
What is an out?
When the pitcher throws four balls and advances the batter to first base.
What is a walk?
When there are runners on first and second or bases are loaded with less than two outs and someone pop flies to the infield.

When the batter levels the bat parallel to the ground instead of swinging.
What is a bunt?
When a player gets in the way of another player's job, like a defensive player blocking a base or an offensive player running on the inside of the base line blocking the pitch to the base.
What is interference?
When the runner crosses home plate.
